Service Desk Analyst - Graduate - Relocation

The Opportunity:

The OSTC technology team is responsible for the design, maintenance, and support of organisations technology infrastructure.

We are looking to add a technically confident and pro-active graduate Service Desk Analyst to support our offices around the globe from the Hangzhou office.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and logging calls using the IT service management tool. 
  • Dealing with day-to-day IT issues directly to end users both in person and over the telephone - supporting 14 offices in 5 countries.
  • Managing incidents, services requests, and problems in-line with best practice processes and procedures.
  • Installation of software including the imagining/reimaging of computers and handled devices locally or using remote deployment tools.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records for PC’s, Laptops, Printers, Software Media, Monitors, and other equipment.
  • Evaluation, management, and maintenance of standard OSTC workstations, laptops and other equipment.
  • Assisting local office management with setting up video conferences, setting up VPN in multiple locations, ISV installation at local Universities.

Required skills:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and with an international team of IT professionals.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar capacity desirable. 
  • Extensive end-user and administrative knowledge of latest Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as SharePoint and Active Directory)
  • Basic network knowledge.
  • Optimization of hardware and configuration for Windows and Intel-based desktops.
  • Must be fluent in English and Mandarin. 
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a methodical approach.
  • Customer-focus mindset, goal-orientation, energy and drive to implement changes.
